EVANSTON, IL — Sketchbook Brewing Company in Evanston will host the True Colors Drag Show, spotlighting performers with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The True Colors Drag Show was started by two local performers, ZiZi D-Lite and Chrysanthemum, who aimed to demonstrate that drag can be for anyone, no matter their ability level.

"Given the current discourse around drag and divisive political times, True Colors is a testament to the beauty of the art form and comes at a time when the need to showcase how drag can be a powerful and important creative outlet is never more felt," organizers said.
