Evanston's 27 Live Launches Restaurant Friday

Evanston’s music venue 27 Live is opening an 88-seat restaurant Friday called Treble-Maker Grill, according to an article in Chicago Magazine.

The venue, at 1012 Church St., had been serving only basic bar food, but will now have a full menu of comfort food, including a sausage plate, pan-roasted chicken and grilled salmon, the article says. Chicago Magazine compares it to other food-plus-music venues like City Winery and Thalia Hall.
