The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:
Man Charged With Disobeying Police
William Hendrix Adams, 41, of the 2800 block of West Lunt Street in Chicago, was arrested and charged with disobedience to police at 5:54 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, in the 1200 block of Chicago Avenue, according to police.

Four Garage Burglaries Reported
Someone attempted to pry open the door of a garage in the 2300 block of Nathaniel Place between 12 p.m. Saturday, May 18, and 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, police reported.

A man stole an Echo leaf blower, three Makita cordless drills in cases and three Stihl chain saws from a garage in the 1100 block of Fowler Avenue between 1:18 and 1:59 a.m. Thursday, May 16, according to police.
Someone used a tool to break into a garage in the 1000 block of Pitner Avenue and steal Protozip power tools between 9 p.m. Monday, May 20, and 7:55 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, according to police.
Someone attempted to pry open a garage door in the 1900 block of Dewey Avenue between 12:01 and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, according to police.
Theft: Girls Mountain Bike, Scrap Metal
Someone stole a navy blue girl’s 22-inch Trek mountain bike that was left unlocked in a yard in the 1600 block of Washington Street at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 19, according to police.
A man stole scrap metal from a bin at a bus garage in the 2300 block of Oakton Street at 8:46 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, police reported.
