Guns, Ammo, Body Armor Confiscated in SWAT Team Arrest
The arrests, which were carried out on an Evanston police warrant, occurred in Rogers Park.

Two men were arrested when a Chicago SWAT team, acting on an Evanston warrant, entered a Rogers Park apartment where they also confiscated two assault rifles, a shotgun, ammunition and body armor last week, according to an article in DNAinfo.
Cary L. Smith, 26, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, and Steven L. Hamann, 26, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, the article says.
In July, Hamann, of the 1400 block of West Lunt Ave. in Chicago, was arrested in Evanston, and police said they found a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun, body armor a facemask and a small amount of marijuana in the car.
