The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department: Gunshots Reported on Lake Police investigated a report that someone fired a gun at Lake Street and Darrow Avenue at 12:47 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16. Nothing was found in the area. Man Charged With Aggravated Assault Omar Torres, 31, of the 700 block of Mulford Street, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after he threatened someone in the 700 block of Mulford Street at 8:28 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, according to police. Graffiti Found On Fowler Graffiti appeared on a driveway in the 1300 block of Fowler Avenue around 7:35 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, according to police.
