
Evanston senior Kieran Low has been named to the American Junior Golf Association All-American team.
Low’s selection as a Rolex Junior All-American is recognizes the achievements of top junior golfers who demonstrated academics and excellence on the golf course. He is one of 56 players from 15 states and four countries (Canada, China, United Kingdom, United States) awarded this honor.
“Each year, Rolex Scholastic Junior All-American honors set the benchmark for excellence, proving that dedication in the classroom and determination on the course go hand in hand,” said AJGA Executive Director Stephen Hamblin. “These 56 student-athletes embody the true spirit of achievement through hard work, focus and passion.”

The AJGA partners with Rolex, a longstanding supporter of both the organization and the sport of golf at all levels, to award All-American honors. To determine the annual honor, the AJGA uses a junior’s high school grade point average to systemically compare applicants from the high school graduating class of 2026.
Criteria to earn All-American honors include a top 10 finish in an AJGA Open or Invitational event, a minimum test score of 1450 SAT, 33 ACT and a minimum 3.5 weighted GPA on the 4.0 scale.

Low was the only player from Illinois selected as an All-American this year. His best tournament finish was a tie for 8th place at the RG Junior Championship, and he compiled an impressive GPA of 4.48 with an SAT score of 1480.
