Hear the Mariachi group Mexico Vive, watch folkloric and contemporary dancers and check out the works of artisans from Mexico during a free celebration of the state of Jalisco, Mexico. 

Jazz, Blues and Gospel at Noyes Cultural Arts Center

The Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre’s summer season ends with two concerts at Noyes Cultural Arts Center Jazz bass player Marlene Rosenberg and Delta bluesman Chainsaw Dupont perform on Friday, while Saturday’s performance showcases some local gospel singers conducted by Rev. Kenneth Cherry. $15 at the door or $12 in advance at the Noyes Center box office (847-448-8260).

The Taming of the Shrew

There are just two weeks left to catch Muse of Fire Theatre Company’s free outdoor production of The Taming of the Shrew. Bring a picnic blanket or chairs; all ages welcome. 

Shared Streets Event
