A man displayed a knife and demanded that his victim hand over their iPhone in the 500 block of Hartrey Avenue around 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, according to police.

Police investigated a report that someone fired a gun in the 1800 block of Lemar Avenue at 1:28 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, according to police.

Gunfire Reported on South, Grove
Police investigated a report that someone fired a gun at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, in at South Boulevard and Sheridan Road. Nothing was found in the area, according to police.
Police investigated a report that someone fired a gun at 9:53 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at Grove Street and Florence Avenue. Nothing was found in the area, according to police.
Arrests: Burglary, Possession of a Controlled Substance, DUI, Etc.
A 42-year-old Evanston woman was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 12:10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, according to police.
Leon J.R. Fountain, 18, of the 1300 block of Fowler Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at 7:46 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, in the 3300 block of Dempster Street, police reported.
David Gomez, 21, of the 200 block of Custer Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery at 5:49 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, police reported.
Raymond C. Langbehn, 48, of the 1400 block of Canal Street in Chicago, was arrested with possession of a controlled substance at 4:03 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, according to police.
Geno Manov, 39, of the 5200 block of North California in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, in the 2800 block of Central Street, police reported.
Robert M. Marren, 20, of the 900 block of Sunset Road in Winnetka, was arrested and charged with disobeying police at 2 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, in the 1900 block of McDaniel Avenue, according to police.
Brandon B. Mason, 19, of the 1700 block of Leland Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with burglary at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, in the 2100 block of Forestview Avenue, police reported.
Marlene Mosheh, 24, of the 6200 block of North Mozart in Chicago, was arrested and charged with endangering the life of a child at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, in the 1000 block of Lake Shore, according to police.
Ryan D. Roberson, 23, of the 600 block of Mill Court in Waukegan, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, according to police.
Burglaries Reported On Barton, Hartrey, Ridge
A man entered an unlocked home in the 600 block of Barton Avenue between 1:36 and 1:40 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, according to police.
Someone entered a home in the 200 block of Hartrey Avenue and stole a Playstation 3 between 3 and 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, police reported.
Someone stole cash, a wallet, cell phone and Mac laptop computer from an unlocked home in the 1100 block of Ridge Avenue between 1 and 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, according to police.
Car Burglaries Reported On Foster, Hovland
Someone broke the driver’s side window of a 2001 Chevrolet in the 1100 block of Foster Street between 10:28 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, and 10:57 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, according to police. Nothing was reported missing.
Someone used a pry tool to break open the lock of a 1996 Chevrolet in the 1800 block of Hovland Court between midnight and 1:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, according to police. Nothing was reported missing.
Someone stole electric saws and Sanders tools from an unlocked 2003 Ford parked in the 2300 block of Foster Street between 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, and 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, police reported.
Bikes Stolen On Maple, Wesley, Howard
Someone stole a black and orange Mongoose bicycle from a locked apartment storage locker between 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, and 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, according to police.
Someone stole two Giant brand bicycles in the 1400 block of Wesley Avenue between 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, and 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, police reported.
Someone stole a men’s bicycle with suspension that was locked to the fence of a parking lot in the 1100 block of Howard Street at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, police reported.

Someone broke the window of a condominium in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, police reported.
Someone broke the window of a home in the 1000 block of Forest at 10:47 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, according to police.
A known offender broke a window in the 900 block of Grey Avenue around midnight Friday, Aug. 9, police reported.
Someone threw a brick through a window in the 1700 block of Brown Avenue at 12:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, according to police.
Someone broke a window in the 1200 block of Emerson Street between midnight and 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, according to police.
A known female offender broke windows of an apartment in the 600 block of Hull Terrace between 11:20 and 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, police reported.
Someone used a brick to break the window of a 1998 Toyota in the 1000 block of Dobson Street around 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, according to police.
Someone used a brick to break the window of a 2013 Chevrolet around 9:25 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, police reported.
Someone broke the window of a 1998 Infiniti using a brick at 9:26 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, in the 1000 block of Dobson Street, according to police.

Someone damaged a fence in a yard in the 1400 block of Main Street at 6:26 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, according to police.
Door Dented On Dobson
Someone dented the door of a 2013 Chevrolet parked in the 1000 block of Dobson Street between 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, and 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, police reported.
Graffiti Found on Sheridan, Keeney, Davis, Gaffield
Graffiti appeared in the 300 block of Sheridan Road at 11:27 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, according to police.
Graffiti appeared on a mailbox at Keeney Street and Judson Avenue at 1:56 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, police reported.
Graffiti appeared in the 1500 block of Davis Street at 2:37 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, according to police.
Graffiti appeared in the 2400 block of Ewing Avenue at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, police reported.
