Men Steal Wallet, Cell Phone Outside Lincolnwood School

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Men Steal Wallet, Cell Phone Outside Lincolnwood

Three known offenders stole a Vera Bradley wallet with a blue, aqua and black paisley pattern and an Apple cell phone outside Lincolnwood School at 2600 Colfax St. around 9:16 p.m. Monday, July 29, police reported.

Burglar Steals Laptop Computer

Someone stole a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop computer from an unlocked home in the 2400 block of Noyes Street between 8 and 11 p.m. Monday, July 29, according to police.

Gunfire Reported on Sherman, Grant

Police investigated a report that someone fired a gun at Sherman Avenue and South Boulevard at 4:23 p.m. Monday, July 29. Nothing was found in the area.

Woman Charged With Domestic Battery

A 46-year-old Westmont woman was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 10:41 p.m. Sunday, July 28, according to police.

Bikes Stolen On Colfax, Callan

Someone stole a Specialized men’s bicycle and two Diamondback bicycles from an unlocked garage in the 2200 block of Colfax Street between 9:30 p.m. Monday, July 29, and 1:03 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, according to police. 

Someone stole a baby blue BMX Diamondback men’s bicycle with a black and blue custom seat that was locked up in a yard in the 100 block of Callan Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 29, police reported.

Car Burglar Takes Ray Bans

Someone entered an unlocked 2002 Volvo and stole a pair of women’s Ray Ban sunglasses between 9:06 and 10:06 p.m. Sunday, July 28, according to police.

Wallet Swiped From Grocery Store

Someone stole a black and tan woman’s wallet from her purse at a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue between 1:25 and 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 29, police reported.
