Northwestern University Announces Athletic Partnership With Iconic Pizzeria

EVANSTON, IL — Northwestern University and Lou Malnati's Pizzeria have announced an athletic partnership for one year, making the legendary pizzeria the Wildcats' preferred caterer.

Through the fall season, Wildcat fans can expect to see Lou Malnati's bringing its legendary deep dish experience directly to campus during Welcome Week, Meet the Team events and football games. The pizzeria's tent will also have merchandise, games and prize opportunities for fans.

said Marc Malnati, owner at Lou Malnati’s. “Northwestern has been part of the Lou Malnati’s family for years and we’re excited to officially support all Wildcat athletes, fans and community members.”

To celebrate the new partnership, Lou Malnati's and Northwestern University have planned special activities and promotions, including:

• A campus scavenger hunt on Sept. 4 that will have participants searching for 10 tote bags filled with gift cards and exclusive merchandise.
• A giveaway open Sept. 2 to 12 where fans can enter to win free pizza from Lou Malnati's for a year and four tickets to the Northwestern vs. Purdue game on October 18th. Entry details are available here.
