Missing 71-Year-Old Evanston Woman Found At Chicago Hospital

Reports of a missing Evanston prompted a police search near the North Shore Channel Tuesday.

EVANSTON, IL — A 71-year-old woman who was reported missing Monday evening in Evanston was located at a Chicago hospital on Tuesday.

Reports that she was missing prompted a police search near the North Shore Channel.

Police launched the search at approximately 11 a.m. in the area of McDaniel Avenue and Dempster Street using a drone.

Police believed that the woman was walking to another home in the area of Emerson Street and Laurel Avenue. She was later captured on a pod camera walking westbound on Dempster Street at Dodge Avenue around 9 p.m.

She was later found at a hospital in Chicago, Evanston police said.
