Self-Serve Yogurt Shop Hoping for Chicago Ave. Store

YoFresh Yogurt Café, a self-serve frozen yogurt shop, is hoping to open at 635 Chicago Ave.

The business’s owner appeared before the Evanston Site Plan and Appearance Review Committee last week, which unanimously approved the request for a special use permit.

According to YoFresh’s website, its only other Illinois franchise is coming soon to Woodstock.

Another new self-serve yogurt shop, Tutti Frutti, opened this month at 809 Davis St., in the space where Red Mango used to be.
