Shooting in Evanston IHOP Parking Lot Sunday Morning
A man was shot in the arm, leg and torso. The gunman remains at large.

Evanston, IL — A 25-year-old Beach Park man was shot three times in Evanston's IHOP parking lot Sunday at 5 a.m.
The man was in the lot in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue when another man approached him and asked for his gang affiliation. The wounded man told police he replied that he wasn't in a gang, after which he was shot in the torso, arm and leg, according to Evanston police.
The wounded man walked into the ER at Presence St. Francis Hospital.

The shooter is described as a black man, medium build, in his 20s, wearing a blue, hooded sweatshirt. He drove away in a grey vehicle.
