A man broke the window of a business in the 900 block of Custer Avenue between 12:05 and 12:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, according to police.

A man broke the front door of an apartment in the 600 block of Custer Avenue and stole a white MacBook laptop computer between 1:25 and 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, police reported. 

Someone broke the front door of an apartment in the 600 block of Custer Avenue and stole a black Sony PS3 Playstation gaming console, three Playstation games worth $60 each, Playstation 3 game controllers, a white Apple iPad and Movado silver watch between 1:23 and 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, according to police. 

Burglar Steals Generator On Brown 

Someone  pried open the front door of a home in the 2000 block of Brown Avenue and stole a generator, Skilsaw and grinder tools between 5:15 p.m. Monday, July 22, and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, according to police.

Cash Stolen From Medical Office On Church

Someone entered the unlocked window of a medical office in the 700 block of Church Street and stole cash between 7 p.m. Monday, July 22, and 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, according to police.

Bikes Swiped From Darrow, Emerson

Someone stole a women’s Trek mountain bicycle and a black and green striped 24-inch Schwinn bicycle from an unlocked storage shed in the 1200 block of Darrow Avenue, according to police.

Someone stole a Schwinn bike that was locked to a rack in the 1000 block of emerson Street between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday, July 22, police reported.

Thief Steals John Deere Lawnmower

Someone stole a John Deere lawnmower that was left unattended in an alley in the 2000 block of Noyes Street at 6:50 p.m. Monday, July 22, police reported.

Retail Theft: Alcohol

A man stole alcohol from a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, according to police. 

Man Shovels Dirt, Broken Glass into Drainage System

Someone shoveled dirt and broken glass into the drainage system of a home in the 1300 block of Elmwood Avenue at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, police reported.

Cars Vandalized On Hartrey

Someone damaged the windshield of a 2001 Ford parked in the 1200 block of Hartrey Avenue between 9 p.m. Monday, July 22, and 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, according to police. 

Someone damaged two door windows of a 2013 international car parked in the 1100 block of Hartrey Avenue between 6 p.m. Monday, July 22, and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, police reported.
