The following arrests and incidents were reported by Evanston Police:
Two Cars Stolen Tuesday
Someone stole a silver, four-door, 2000 Volkswagen Passat that was parked in the 2100 block of Warren Street at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, according to police. The car has New Mexico plate 145PJC.

Someone stole a 2009 four-door Toyota Camry with the license plate L891621 from the 100 block of Callan Avenue at 9:56 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, police reported.
Arrests: Retail Theft, Endangering the Life of a Child

Joe Hunt, 65, of the 1700 block of Juneway Terrace in Chicago, was arrested and charged with retail theft in the 7700 block of Paulina Street after he stole alcohol from a grocery store in the 1900 block of Dempster Street around 8:06 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, police reported.
Ladina L. Sykes, 40, of the 1500 block of Simpson Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with endangering the life or health of a child at 10:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, in the 2600 block of Sheridan Road.
Burglar Steals Linens On Callan
Someone forced entry to an apartment in the 300 block of Callan Avenue and stole TJ Maxx brand linens between 7:55 and 8:18 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, according to police.
Two Car Burglaries On Seward
Someone stole a wallet from an unlocked 2009 Toyota parked in the 2100 block of Seward Street between 10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, and 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, according to police.
Someone stole the vehicle registration from a 2011 Subaru parked in the 2000 block of Seward Street between 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, and 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, police reported.
Bikes Stolen On Chicago, Dewey
Someone stole a 21-inch black Specialized bicycle that was locked to a storage rack in the 800 block of Chicago Avenue between 7 a.m. and 5:54 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, according to police.
Someone stole a Fit boys bike that was left unlocked in a yard in the 1900 block of Dewey Avenue between 4 and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, police reported.
