Gunfire Reported On Brown

Evanston Police investigated a report that someone fired a gun in the 1900 block of Brown Avenue at 10:35 p.m. Sunday, June 30, according to police. Nothing was found in the area. 

Police investigated a report that someone fired a gun in the 1200 block of Mulford Street at 9:57 p.m. Sunday, June 30. Nothing was found in the area. 

Woman Charged With DUI On Oakton

Destiny N. Fox, 24, of the 1200 block of Darrow Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 10:27 p.m. Sunday, June 30, according to police.

When Confronted, Thieves Dropped Speakers and Ran

A man confronted two men who were inside his garage holding his speakers at 11:25 a.m. Saturday, June 29, in the 1800 block of Maple Avenue, according to police. The would-be thieves dropped the speakers and ran away, police said. 

Auto Theft on Seward, Ridge

Someone stole a four-door gold 1996 Toyota Avalon with the license plate N549310 that was parked at Seward and Grey at 9:15 p.m. Monday, July 1, according to police. 

Someone stole a gray, four-door 2008 Acura TSX 4 with the license plate N 184248 that was parked in the 700 block of Ridge Avenue at 10 a.m. Monday, July 1, police reported. 

Thief Steals Wallet On Dodge

Someone stole a wallet that was left unattended in a park in the 300 block of Dodge Avenue between 3:48 and 3:53 p.m. Monday, July 1, police reported. 

Man Steals Cash From Mailbox

A man stole cash from a mailbox in the 1900 block of Darrow Avenue at 6:42 p.m. Monday, July 1, according to police.

Bikes Stolen On Sherman, Dewey

Someone stole a green men’s 28-inch Cannondale bicycle that was locked to a storage rack in the 1300 block of Sherman Plaza at 12 p.m. Friday, June 28, according to police. 

Someone entered an unlocked garage in the 1500 block of Dewey Avenue and stole a black and red Diamondback mountain bike between 11 a.m. and 4:47 p.m. Monday, July 1, police reported.

Man Steals Belvidere Gin

A man stole a bottle of Belvidere gin from a grocery store in the 1900 block of Dempster Street at 6:15 a.m. Friday, June 28, police reported.

Vandals Break Windows On Main, Mulford

Someone threw a brick through the window of a business in the 800 block of Main Street between 6 a.m. Sunday, June 30, and 9:45 a.m. Monday, July 1, police reported. 

Someone threw a rock through the rear window of a home in the 600 block of Mulford Street between 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27, and 12 p.m. Saturday, June 29, according to police.

Door Locks Damaged On Grove

Someone damaged the door locks in an apartment or condo common area in the 110 block of Grove Street between 12 p.m. Sunday, June 30, and 10 a.m. Monday, July 1, according to police.
