1 Dead, 5 Hurt In 4-Vehicle Crash On Far Southwest Side: Police
One victim suffered cardiac arrest, according to the Chicago Fire Department. All six were taken to area hospitals, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — One person died and five were injured in a four-vehicle crash Wednesday night on the far southwest side, according to police.
The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the 3600 block of West Columbus Avenue, police said. The driver of a northbound Nissan Frontier appears to have been trying to turn left when he struck a Mazda sedan head-on, according to police, who said an SUV rear-ended the Nissan and a second SUV struck the vehicles in the intersection while traveling south.
Two men in the Mazda were in critical condition and one died, police said. The man driving the Nissan was in serious condition, according to police. Two women in the rear-ending SUV suffered minor injuries, as did the man driving the southbound SUV, police said.
