• Thomas McGivney Obituary (2025) (suntimes.com) — Evergreen Park native Reverend Thomas Francis McGivney Jr., a longtime Joliet Diocese priest and former pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lockport, has died at 82. Family, friends, and parishioners can pay respects at his December 22 visitation and funeral Mass in Lockport, with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Chicago.
