3 Candidates Vie For 4 Open Seats On Evergreen Park ESD 124

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — The consolidated election on April 1, 2025 will feature several local races, including the school board race for Evergreen Park Elementary School Dist. 124. The last day to file petitions for the April election was Nov. 18, so the Cook County Clerk has released an unofficial list of candidates for school board races.

Only three candidates have filed to run for four open board seats. The candidates are all incumbents, including Michael Thomas, Michael Aumiller and Rachel Marroquin. Each seat is for four years. Current D124 Board President Colleen Klimczak, whose term expires in 2025, did not file to run, leaving an open seat.

The deadline to file as a write-in candidate for the upcoming consolidated election in Cook County is Jan. 30, 2025.
