Back To School: Evergreen Park Community High School 2025-2026 Academic Calendar

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Where did the summer go? There are just a few short weeks until students head back to school this month. Back to school planning has already begun in Evergreen Park Community High School Dist. 231 with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the 2025-2026 school year.

The first day of school for Dist. 231 students will be Aug. 13.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. We also suggest that you check the Dist. 231 calendar and your child’s school calendar for conferences, open houses, meetings, exams, early dismissals, athletic and other school events.

Here's a look at some dates to know for the 24-25 school year:

Sept. 1 - Labor Day, off
Oct. 13 - Indigenous People Day
Nov. 11 - Veterans Day, off
Nov. 26-28 - Thanksgiving break
Dec. 1 - Classes resume
Dec. 23 to Jan. 5 - Winter break
Jan. 6 - Teacher Institute, no student attendance
Jan. 7 - Classes resumes
Jan. 19 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Feb. 16 - Presidents Day
March 2 - Casimir Pulaski Day, off
April 3 - Good Friday
April 6 to April 11 - Spring Break
April 14 - Classes resume
May 15 - Seniors last day
May 20 - Graduation
May 21 - End of term
May 23 - Last day of student attendance
