Kris Kringle Pops In Saturday For Evergreen Park's Santa Wonderland And Reindog Parade

EVERGREEN PARK, IL —Jingle all the way to “Santa’s Wonderland and Reindog Parade” Saturday, Dec. 13. Evergreen Park’s holiday celebration runs from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Klein (Circle) Park, 3450 W. 97th St.

The next best thing to dogs barking their way through “Jingle Bells,” is a Reindog Parade. Get your pooch all gussied up in their Christmas finery for a promenade around the park. There will be a prize for the best dressed pet and pet photos with Santa, as well as delicious dog cookies to buy. The Reindog Parade starts at 1:30 p.m., but you might want to get there a little earlier.

More wonderment immediately follows for Santa’s Wonderland, featuring a vendor fair, trackless train, bouncy houses, holly jolly trolley, winter wagon rides, cookie decorating, characters, pony rides, adult beverages, Christmas music and the annual tree lighting.

The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 p.m. will cap the celebration and mark the start of the holiday season. The event is free to attend, with food and drinks available for purchase from individual vendors.
