EVERGREEN PARK, IL - Dozens of faculty and staff members at Evergreen Park Community High School are in the process of obtaining their AED/CPR certifications.

Lt. Ed Dunne of the Evergreen Park Fire Department has already made a number of visits to EPCHS to train the school staff members. Ten staff members are trained at a time, and, in all, 40 will get their certifications this way.

EPCHS Director of Athletics Jim Soldan said he asks the school's coaching staff to do this voluntarily, "to be safe when they are out there at events." Employees in the athletic office, and Soldan himself, will also be trained.
