Students Celebrate Last Day At Evergreen Park Community High School With Senior Tailgate

EPCHS seniors line Kedzie Avenue celebrating their last day as high school students.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — If you were driving down Kedzie Avenue last Friday morning, you may have noticed hundreds of seniors outside celebrating their last day as high school students.

The soon-to-be graduates held a senior tailgate in front of Evergreen Park Community High School. The students brought their own breakfast and bag sets. Nearly all wore white shirts and brought Sharpies for their classmates to sign them.

Don’t worry, the senior tailgate was non-alcoholic. Most had Dunkin Donut drinks or guzzled liters of pop.

The group was cheered on by the honks of many cars along Kedzie Avenue during the 7 to 8 a.m. hour. (Dang, high school kids have to get up early.)
