EP Picnic In The Park And Food Truck Fest Brings Tasty Treats And Tunes To Klein Park

EVERGREEN PARK, IL – Bring your taste buds to the rescheduled Picnic in the Park and Food Truck Festival Thursday, July 31. Enjoy an evening of delicious food, wine and beer, along with great music from 5 to 8 p.m. at Klein (Circle) Park, 97th Street and Homan Avenue.

Residents and visitors are invited to sample a diverse array of culinary offerings from returning and new food trucks. Confirmed food trucks include Barraco’s, Nicky V’s,La Catrina Chris Corp and Pinoy Grill. The Evergreen Park Youth Department will also be on hand selling frozen treats.
John Dreznes, with Beverly Records, returns with his massive record collection to provide the soundtrack for the evening.

“The annual food truck event has become a summer tradition in Evergreen Park,” Mayor Kelly Burke said. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy fantastic food, and create lasting memories.”

The village is keeping an eye on the weather for Wednesday and will provide any updates on VillageofEp Instagram and on thevillage website. Limited seating will be available inside the Community Center, and sprinklers will be on in a portion of the park for the kids, and kids at heart, to keep cool.

Don’t be surprised if you see one of your Evergreen Park elected officials as a celebrity bartender. All proceeds from beverage sales will go to the Evergreen Park Food Pantry.
