Residents Alerted To 'Suspicious Person' In Car Who Followed Kid: EPPD
Evergreen Park police issued an emergency alert after the driver of a Lexus followed a young girl Tuesday afternoon near 103rd and Albany.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — The Evergreen Park Police Department has issued a “suspicious person” emergency alert when the driver of a Lexus reportedly followed a young girl earlier this week.
Around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, police said the young girl was walking in the area of 103rd Street and Albany Avenue. The driver of the Lexus asked the girl if she wanted a ride. Updated per EPPD: The Lexus was described by the girl as gold or silver in color.
Police said the driver spoke to her again near 101st Street and Albany Avenue. Both times the girl refused him.

The driver is described as an African American male, between 50-70 years old, bald, with a gray mustache. Anyone with information about the incident or has doorbell camera footage in the area, is asked to call Evergreen Park police at 708-422-2144.
The incident was not reported to EPPD until Sept. 26.
