Underwear Theft from Wal-Mart: Blotter

Clothing Theft

Lachanda C. Lanier, 21, of the 11500 block of South LaFeyette, Chicago, was charged with retail theft. She is accused of taking 34 pieces of clothing and cosmetics from Wal-Mart, 2500 W. 95th. The total value is $149.27.

Underwear Theft

Ladonna D. Jackson, 24, 300 block of East 73rd Street, Chicago, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She is accused of taking two pieces of underwear, worth $19.98 total, at about 3:37 p.m. from Carson’s, 9700 S. Western Ave.

Joliet Woman Charged With Retail Theft

Teniesha R. Ellis, 30, 300 block of North Chicago Street, Joliet, was charged with retail theft and possession of marijuana, according to a report. She is accused of stealing 12 cosmetics, valued at $86.10. After she was arrested, police recovered a small bag of marijuana.

Heroin Possession Charge

Suzanne M. Smith, 29, 2900 block of Post St., Jacksonville FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and not wearing a seat belt, according to a report. Smith was a passenger in a car that was stopped at about 10:42 a.m. near 87th Street and Pulaski Avenue. An officer reported seeing her smoking a glass pipe. Police recovered 4.8 grams of heroin, syringes, burnt spoons and a glass pipe.
