• EPCHS Madrigals sing their way through December (southwestregionalpublishing.com) — Evergreen Park Community High School’s Madrigals filled Evergreen Park with Renaissance-style carols all December, visiting local hospitals, churches, schools, and the village’s Santa’s Wonderland tree lighting. The 14-student ensemble became a familiar sight in costume and will even extend their season with a special performance at Millikin University in early January 2026.
   

• Patricia ‘Pat' A. Martin (wgil.com) — Evergreen Park readers are remembering Patricia “Pat” Martin, born in the village in 1941, whose life in art, interior design, and service touched many across Illinois and beyond. The longtime Western Springs resident recently passed away in Galesburg, with funeral services set for Dec. 30 in Western Springs and burial in Alsip.
