After years of investigation, the Park District has pinpointed the problem area and approved repairs, along with routine sand filter work and repainting to keep the facility safe and sustainable.
   

• Park district moving into H&R Auto (forestparkreview.com) — Forest Park’s park district has officially taken over the former H&R Auto garage on Hannah Avenue, using it for bus and maintenance storage while considering long-term plans. Leaders also bought adjacent green space on Harrison and are weighing keeping it open after positive public reaction, with a possible new mural planned through the Forest Park Arts Alliance.
   

• Arts Alliance's robust 2025 in Forest Park (forestparkreview.com) — Forest Park’s Arts Alliance is rolling out a full slate of creative events and new public art projects in 2026, including garden pole installations in Constitution Court and along Madison. From Garage Galleries and Stoop Sessions to Tellers’ Night and Fiber Flash, the group is seeking more volunteers and business partners to keep arts deeply woven into village life.
