2023 Football Schedule Released For Lincoln-Way East High School

Lincoln-Way East will face Kenwood in the first game on Aug. 24.

FRANKFORT, IL — With the approach of the start of the school year, high school football season will also soon begin. A nine-game regular season will run through the end of October before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24-25 at Illinois State University, according to IHSA.

Lincoln-Way East in Frankfort is a part of the Southwest Suburban conference, which includes schools like Homewood-Flossmoor, Bolingbrook, Lockport Township High School and Sandburg.

  • Aug. 24, 7 p.m., at Chicago's Kenwood
  • Sept. 1, 7 p.m., at Batavia
  • Sept. 8, 7 p.m., Neuqua Valley at home
  • Sept. 15, 7 p.m., Bradley-Bourbonnais at home
  • Sept. 22, 7 p.m., at Andrew
  • Sept. 29, 6:30 p.m., at Lockport
  • Oct. 6, 7 p.m., Homewood-Flossmoor at home
  • Oct. 13, 7 p.m., Sandburg at home
  • Oct. 20, 7 p.m., at Bolingbrook

Lincoln-Way East is coached by Rob Zvonar, and the team went 13-1 last season, taking second place in IHSA Class 8A.
