Frankfort Police, Fire Respond To Incident At Train Tracks: Officials
The Frankfort Police Department sent an alert Monday for motorists to avoid the area of Wolf Road in between U.S. Route 30 and Laraway Road.

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Police Department and Frankfort Fire Protection District responded Monday to an incident involving a single motor vehicle on Wolf Road at the Canadian National railroad tracks, according to Frankfort FPD Deputy Chief Paul Kinsella.
A man driving a Chevy Silverado drove off the roadway and onto the tracks, according to FFPD. The man was not injured during the incident.
The Frankfort PD sent the alert at approximately 1:13 p.m. advising motorists to avoid the area between U.S. Route 30 and Laraway Road on Wolf Road.

The vehicle was removed from the tracks approximately 30 minutes later, and the all clear was given for traffic to resume, Kinsella said.
