'Amazing' Frankfort Mom 'May Be The Real Wonder Woman'

FRANKFORT, IL— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

She has two beautiful twins and works a very high stress, demanding job that takes up to 10 hours of her day most days. She somehow, someway still makes time to make sure she takes care of all of their needs. Shopping, cooking, driving to dance competitions that have her leaving at 5:30am on both weekend days. Ordering all of their dance clothes, volleyball clothes and practices volleyball somewhere in those busy weekend days. Takes care of everything in the house and on top of tha,t still makes time for her husband. She is wonder woman in our household and since I have never seen Lisa and wonder woman in the same place at the same time, she may be the real wonder woman as well. Happy Mother's day to an amazing mom that always puts her family first. Today is your day and we want to tell you how much we love you because we don't say it near enough times the rest of the year. You're the best, Mom!

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

Because she is wonder woman.
