Back To School: Frankfort 2022-23 School Calendar

FRANKFORT, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Frankfort, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210, Frankfort School District 157-C and Summit Hill School District 161.

The first day of school for most students in Frankfort is Aug. 16.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its two-and-a-half-year point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Frankfort.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210

• First Day: Aug. 16
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23-25
• Winter Break: Dec. 23 to Jan. 9
• Spring Break: April 3-7
• Last Day: May 26

Frankfort School District 157-C

• First Day: Aug. 17
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23-25
• Winter Break: Dec. 23 to Jan. 6
• Spring Break: April 3-7
• Last Day: June 6 if all five emergency days are used

Summit Hill School District 161

• First Day: Aug. 17
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23-25
• Winter Break: Dec. 26 to Jan. 6
• Spring Break: April 3-10
• Last Day: June 5 if all five emergency days are used
