Battery Charge For Calumet City Teen: Cops

FRANKFORT, IL — The following information is from the Frankfort Police Department unless otherwise noted. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Battery

Tanaja D. Tyler, 19, of the 1400 block of Kenilworth Drive, Calumet City, was charged with misdemeanor battery stemming from an incident at noon Sept. 11 in the 7200 block of Lincoln Highway. Tyler's next court date is Oct. 10.

DUI

Darnell A. Taylor, 51, of the 11800 block of South Bishop Street, Chicago, was cited for driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 during a traffic stop at 3:15 p.m. Sept. 16, near Harlem Avenue and Golfview Drive. His next court date is Oct. 5.

Traffic Violations

Donte A. Davis, 32, of the 4700 block of Hickory Creek Drive, University Park, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving without a valid license during an incident at 6:20 p.m. Sept. 16, near Lincoln Highway and Wolf Road. Davis' next court date is Oct. 2.
