Christkindl Weekend Planned In Downtown Frankfort

FRANKFORT, IL — Enjoy Christkindl Weekend in downtown Frankfort on Dec. 14-15 with family-friendly activities and holiday gift shopping in local businesses.

The festive weekend will be held from noon to 6 p.m. each day, according to the Village.

The event will feature real reindeer, live carolers and holiday music, trackless train rides, horse-drawn wagon rides, a lantern parade, bonfire, holiday story, ornament crafts, nutcracker performances, and visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus.

"Stroll through downtown Frankfort’s beautifully decorated streets, where holiday magic fills the air. Discover one-of-a-kind holiday gifts in local boutiques and specialty shops, then relax in one of Frankfort’s welcoming restaurants where you can savor festive treats, warm drinks, and delicious seasonal menus," the Village said.
