Coffee Lounge Approved By Frankfort Board

FRANKFORT, IL — Plans for a new coffee shop moved forward at Monday's Frankfort Village Board meeting, as the Board approved a special use permit for Dimes Coffee Lounge.
The new business will be located at 10850 W. Laraway Road, Unit 1W, in the Patriot Center.
There is a volleyball club in the center, and the business could attract customers from players and spectators, Board documents state. Co-owner Summer See is also a volleyball coach.

The plan commission and Village Board also approved a parking adjustment for the coffee shop, to allow for the required 11 parking spaces to be shared among the existing 207 parking spaces on the property, according to Board documents.
According to the business' website, hours will be 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. No opening date has been given yet.

The business website says it will offer "a tasty cup of coffee, refreshing drinks or some delicious pastries."
At the same meeting, the Board also approved a special use permit for Solyne Coffee, which will sell coffee and bakery items.
