Columbus Day 2018: What's Open And Closed In Frankfort
Find out how Monday's holiday will affect village agencies, institutions and services.

FRANKFORT, IL — Observed on the second Monday of October, Columbus Day is a federal holiday that can be a bit confusing when it comes to knowing what's open and what's closed. Adding to the confusion is that many people still have to work that day, and it can leave them wondering if other places around the city are in the same situation.
With that in mind, Patch has put together a list on how Columbus Day will affect some of the prominent institutions and services in the village. Here's a look at what will be opened and closed for the holiday:
Schools: No classes for Lincoln-Way High School District 210, Summit Hill School District 161 and Frankfort School District 157-C.
