Commissioners Park Splash Park Opens May 28

FRANKFORT, IL — The splash park at Commissioners Park in Frankfort will open for the summer on May 28, according to the Frankfort Park District.

The splash park, located at 22108 S. 80th Ave., will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is charged on a first-come, first-service basis; only 60 patrons at a time can enter the splash park. It is $2 per resident, and $4 per nonresident. Kids 1 and under are free.

Concessions are also open daily during splash park hours, according to the park district.

Kids under the age of 12 require a parent or guardian present. The splash park will close if the temperatures falls below 72 degrees.
