Frankfort Park District Set For Spring Events: Craft Show, Egg Hunts, Spring On The Green
The Frankfort Park District also has a slate of events planned for this spring including Spring on the Green, egg hunts and more.
FRANKFORT, IL — There is still several more weeks of winter, snow and cold, but it's nice to dream of warmer, spring days. The Frankfort Park District also has a slate of events planned for this spring including the annual spring craft show, Spring on the Green, donuts with the Bunny and more.
Here's a look at what the park district has planned this spring:
- Spring Craft Show
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 7. At Founders Community Center. Free admission. Featuring a variety of local crafters and artists selling handmade goods, seasonal decor, artisanal products and gifts.
- Singo
- 1 to 3 p.m. on March 11. At Founders Community Center. For 55 and older, $5. Like Bingo, but with your favorite tunes instead of numbers. Register by March 4.
- Spring on the Green
- 12 to 2 p.m. at Breidert Green. All ages, free. DJ music, kid-friendly games, a balloon artist, bonfire, hot chocolate and cookies.
- Donuts with the Bunny
- Multiple sessions on March 28. At Founders Community Center. All ages; $12 per resident child. Join for crafts, games, donuts, an egg hunt and a photo opportunity. Register by March 20.
- Super Dog Egg Hunt
- 1:30 p.m. on March 28. At Bark Par at Commissioners Park. Free. Dog egg hunt, vendors, photo opportunities and more.
- Annual Family Fun Fly
- 11 a.m. to noon on April 1. At Main Park. All ages, free. Grab your kites and join the park district for a kite fly.
- Bunny Home Visit
- 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 3. All ages, $35 fee for outdoor home visit with the bunny and a gift for one child. Open to Frankfort Park District residents only.
