Community Health Fair Planned In Frankfort

FRANKFORT, IL — A free community health fair, presented by Riverside Healthcare, will be held on Nov. 14 at Founders Community Center, 140 Oak St., in Frankfort.

The fair will offer a variety of free screenings, demonstrations and informational booths, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Admission is free. There will also be a blood drive, hosted by the American Red Cross, during the fair. If you donate, you get a $10 e-gift card, and a chance to win $1,000, according to the Frankfort Park District website.

Health screenings will include blood pressure checks, back assessments and vision screenings. There will also be cook demonstrations, fitness demonstrations, and raffles and giveaways.
