FRANKFORT, IL — For those looking to get outside, shop with local vendors and maybe meet a new friend or two, The Village of Frankfort Country Market is set to open for the season Sunday.
The Country Market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Sunday through Oct. 30, excluding July 10 and Sept. 4, according to the Village.
The Frankfort Country Market, located in downtown Frankfort, features locally-grown produce, plants, baked goods, prepared food and gourmet products. It has been a staple in Frankfort since 1993, according to Village Events Coordinator Sue Lynchey.
