Final Plans Approved For The Reserve Of Copper Creek In Frankfort
The project is a 55-unit mixed residential development that is on the property formerly occupied by the Borg Warner facility.
FRANKFORT, IL — The final planned unit development and final plat of subdivision for The Reserve of Copper Creek subdivision was approved at Monday's Frankfort Village Board meeting.
"[It's] an exciting one, that's been in the works for some time," Trustee Michael Leddin said.
The project is a 55-unit mixed residential development that is on the property formerly occupied by the Borg Warner facility. The property is located at the southeast corner of Locust Street and Utah Street and the southwest corner of Maple and Utah.

A preliminary development plan was approved earlier this year by the Board.
According to Board documents, the subdivision will include 35 single-family detached homes and 20 single-family attached homes within 10 two-story duplex buildings.

As part of the approvals, all residential lots will have to include an architectural element of one of six architectural styles, and a masonry element like a chimney or porch knee wall, Board documents state.
