Frankfort Cop On A Rooftop Planned For May 17

FRANKFORT, IL — Cop on a Rooftop, the annual fundraiser for Special Olympics Illinois, will be held on May 17 at the Frankfort Dunkin', 20551 S. La Grange Road.

This year is the 21st anniversary between Dunkin' and Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run. Each year, police officers staff Dunkin' locations, often standing on rooftops of the buildings, to support Special Olympics Illinois.

Frankfort officers will support the fundraiser again this year, from 5 a.m. to noon on May 17. Proceeds will benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.

Guests who make a donation will receive a coupon for a free donut, according to the event website. If you donate $10 or more, you will receive a tumbler and a coupon for a free coffee.
