Frankfort Dangerous Wind Chills: School Closures For Tuesday

FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort is under a wind chill warning until noon Tuesday, and a wind chill advisory until 9 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, dangerously cold wind winds of 25 to 40 below zero are expected during the wind chill warning. The lowest wind chills will be at night and during the morning.

With the cold, many schools in Frankfort have announced closures or e-learning days for Tuesday, including:

• Summit Hill District 161, e-learning for Tuesday
• Frankfort District 157-C, e-learning for Tuesday
• Lincoln-Way District 210, e-learning for Tuesday
