Frankfort Driver Tried to Flee After Traffic Stop: Cops

PLUS: Items were stolen from a Sara Springs Drive construction site.

FRANKFORT, IL — The following information is from the Frankfort Police Department unless otherwise noted. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Attempting to Flee Police

Dakari Drearr, 21, of the 7300 block of Yorktown Road, was cited for driving with a revoked license, obstructing justice and trying to flee police following a traffic stop Sept. 18 in the 7300 block of Yorktown, according to the Will County Sheriff's Office. Drearr also had an active Will County warrant.

Possession of Drug Equipment

Richard E. Hiller, 31, of the 8100 block of West Brickstone Drive, was arrested for possession of drug equipment, driving with suspended registration, driving without insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop Sept. 22, near West St. Francis Road and South Harlem Avenue, the sheriff's office said.

Burglary

Items were stolen from a construction site at around 7 a.m. Oct. 4 in the 22900 block of Sara Springs Drive.

Outstanding Warrants

Jermain K. Humes, 33, of the 0-100 block of Washington Court, Park Forest was cited for speeding, driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance Oct. 9. Humes also had two outstanding Will County warrants and was taken to Will County Jail.
