Frankfort Park District To Host Back To School Bash Friday

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Park District is helping celebrate the return of the school year with its Back to School Bash from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Commissioners Park, 22108 S. 80th Ave.

The free event is open to children of all ages and their families. Attendees are asked to bring a school supply that can be donated to children in need.

The event is scheduled to include field and carnival games, music, craft area, touch-a-truck, plus playtime at Fort Frankfort and in the Splash Park, according to information on the Frankfort Park District website.

In the event of poor weather, the Back to School Bash will be moved indoors at the Founders Community Center Gym, 140 Oak St.
