Frankfort Park District Hosts Scarecrow Building Contest

FRANKFORT, IL — The spooky season is quickly approaching, and it's almost time for the Frankfort Park District's scarecrow building contest.

For those who would like to build a scarecrow for the contest, all entries are due by Oct. 9. Cross sticks are provided by the park district and can be picked up now.

According to the park district, the scarecrows will be displayed outside the Founders Community Center from Oct. 10 to Oct. 31. Voting will also run during the same time frame.
