Frankfort Park District Offers Community Recreation Center Survey

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Park District is seeking input from residents about the feasibility of building a multi-use community recreation center.

The park district has created an online survey to gain input from residents.

According to the park district, it is beginning this public engagement process to get feedback on a proposal to build a new recreation center that could include a walking/jogging track, gymnasiums, indoor playground and other amenities.

The process is also giving consideration to replace the Founders Community Center, which was build in 1925, and renovated in 1995, according to the park district.
