Frankfort Police To Participate In Cop On A Rooftop Event Friday

FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort police officers will be stationed atop Dunkin' Friday as part of the annual Cop on a Rooftop event to help raise money for Special Olympics Illinois.

Residents can stop by and Dunkin' at 20551 S. LaGrange Road from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. to join in the fundraising.

This year's Cop on a Rooftop marks the 19th Anniversary of the Dunkin' and Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois partnership, according to information on the Special Olympics Illinois website. Nearly $870,000 was raised for the organization last year across 283 locations.
