Frankfort Residents Can Score Free Sundaes At Ice Cream Social Sunday
This year's guest scoopers will be members of the Frankfort Police Department and Frankfort Fire Protection District.
FRANKFORT, IL — I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream, as the saying goes. Well, screaming won't be necessary for Frankfort residents to score some free ice cream sundaes at the Frankfort Preservation Foundation and Frankfort Area Historical Society's annual Ice Cream Social.
The free event is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Founders Center, 140 Oak St. in Frankfort.
This year's guest scoopers will be members of the Frankfort Police Department and Frankfort Fire Protection District.

In addition to the free ice cream, attendees will be treated to live music by the Frankfort Brass Band, games and the famous "PieLympics" competition, which is a pie eating contest for youth and adults.
