Frankfort Splash Park To Close For Season Sept. 2

Here's a look at the hours for the remainder of this year's schedule.

FRANKFORT, IL — There's just a couple of weeks left for children and families to enjoy the Splash Park at Commissioners Park, 22108 S. 80th Ave. in Frankfort, as the end of the season will be Sept. 2.

The Frankfort Park District has posted the hours for the remainder of this year's schedule.

Here's when the Splash Park will be open:

Weekday Hours:

  • Monday through Friday - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Weekend Hours:

  • Aug. 20 - 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Aug. 21 - Closed
  • Aug. 27 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Aug. 28 - Closed

Cost of admission for the Splash Park is $2 for Frankfort residents, $4 for non-residents. Children under the age of 1 are admitted free. Children under the age of 12 require a parent and/or guardian of at least 16 years of age be present. Parents and/or guardians over 18 years of age who are not using the Splash Park will not be charged admission.

The Splash Park is limited to 60 people at any given time.
